Returns & Refunds
At The Wax Foundry, every candle is hand-poured and carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. We want you to love your purchase — but if something isn’t right, we’ll make it right.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your candle arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thewaxfoundry.co.nz with your order number and a photo of the issue. We’ll happily arrange a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs.
Change of Mind Returns
Because our products are handmade and fragranced, we’re unable to offer returns or refunds for change of mind once an item has been used or burned. If you change your mind before burning, returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the candle is unused, in its original packaging, and returned at the buyer’s expense.
Exchanges
If you’d like to swap your candle for another fragrance, please contact us within 14 days. Exchanges are subject to product availability and returned in unused condition.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. You’ll receive a confirmation once complete.
